Photo Quality Digital Inkjet Prints

Tips to Produce Photo Quality Digital Inkjet Prints

  • Digital cameras have a fixed number of pixels in the image. Setting your camera on the highest setting, usually tiff, will produce the maximum detail for your image. For example a common PPI (pixel per inch) is 1200x1600. This will give you a 12"x16" photograph. The more PPI, the larger we can make your image. We need 100 DPI (dots per inch) at the final size for a quality image.
  • When E-Mailing your file, send it to us as a JPG saved at the highest quality possible. Be sure to include any specific instructions, i.e. cropping and size information.
  • Do as little manipulation to your image as possible. We will adjust the image to give you the highest quality print available.
  • A protective laminate is recommended. Our UV laminates come in a glossy or luster surface.
  • PPI - Pixels per Inch - Image Resolution
  • DPI - Dots per Inch - Printer resolution
